When changing a Brother toner cartridge, it is first most important to note that there is a new cartridge ready to be put in the old ones place. After the new cartridge is accounted for, the printer must be set in the off position to ensure that nothing dangerous or unpredictable happens during the changing of the toner cartridge. Then the top of the printer must be removed, exposing its insides and the cartridge. The Brother toner cartridge must be carefully extracted from the printer, but with only a minimal amount of effort and ease, the cartridge should break free.
After replacing the new one in, it is time for a sample test run of the printer to see how the cartridge runs and works. It is equally important to remember that even if the cartridge is changed, it is not a fully done job until the printer produces a working and successful run of a print job, otherwise the cartridge is rendered useless and needs to be changed again, so the change in the first place was useless. One reason for a new toner change producing blank sheets is that the film strip was not removed prior to insertion.
